Born & bred under a Carolina blue sky. Eldest daughter, sister to eight, aunt to three. Lucky wife to a Delhi boy. Loving life and keeping house among the evergreens and the eagles of the beautiful Pacific Northwest.

I deserve nothing & yet have been given everything. The Lord’s mercies have never failed me. They are new & unmerited & bountiful every morning.

I’ve always loved to write. As a young girl, my dad encouraged me to “write your tales of love in the Lamb’s book above, write your deeds of honour in the lives that you touch. Let hearts be your pages and love be your pen, and we’ll read your stories again & again”.

I hope I can measure up to that in some small way through this blog.
